Responsibilities

  • Analyse organisational structures to identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with short- and long-term goals
  • Conduct planning and execution of mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring
  • Assess business operations to identify bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities
  • Perform operational audits to uncover inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify regulatory or compliance shortcomings
  • Apply process improvement methods to streamline workflows, cost efficiency and service quality
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting to maintain accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform risk assessments to identify potential weaknesses across key business areas
  • Risk scheduling and management for clients
  • Evaluate potential threats from regulatory changes, market dynamics, and competition
  • Develop change management plans and roadmaps to support smooth organisational transitions.
  • Recommend corrective steps to maintain compliance with evolving regulations
  • Regular communications with clients or account managers and the director

Skills

  • 1 year of business and management consultancy experience.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team to solve complex issues
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Job Type: Permanent
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £50,500 per annum
